As reported in the occupied territories, the head of the union of workers in the “electricity authority”, Ahmet Tudzu announced that the ship will carry a cargo of 12,000 tons of fuel and citing the agreement signed by the “government” with the Turkish oil company TPIC, the supply should be made every 15 days and in case of delay penalties are provided depending on the duration.

According to the media, the a ship with fuel was expected last night and the fuel at the Kyrenia power station has run out.

The president of the union of the workers of the “electricity authority”, (El Sen), Tsiaglayan Jesurer told Jeni Duzen that there is a lack of 60 megawatts in the market and that is why they still buy electricity from KD. The demand, he said, also depends on the weather, explaining that if it's cold and no fuel comes from Turkey, then the demand for electricity from the free zones increases.
