The bi-communal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage (TEPK) continues its work, where this time it proceeded with the improvement of four cemeteries.
Specifically, the renovation of four cemeteries in Karavas, Gypsou, Kalo Chorio Larnaca and Mandria was completed.
As the member of the Technical Committee of Cultural Heritage Sotos Ktoris stated in a post on his personal Facebook account, “respect for the dead is a universal value, a criterion of culture”.

It is recalled that the bi-communal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage is among the winners for the 2021 European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards.
The Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage, in its 13 years of existence, has preserved more than 70 monuments of great historical, archaeological, religious and social importance. More than 50 monuments are planned to be implemented in the next three years.
The award is a moral reward for the commitment of the members of the Technical Committee, both in the effort to save the cultural heritage of Cyprus, and in creating a climate of trust and understanding between the two Communities of Cyprus.
