A Paphos District Court issued a restraining order today against a 45-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday by members of the Police, in connection with an investigated case of harassment in a sports venue, attack with causing real damage, and causing damage to sports facilities. .

According to an announcement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, the offenses were allegedly committed before the start of the football match between the teams Akritas Chlorakas – Omonia 29M, which was held at the Stelios Stadium Kyriakidis in Paphos, on March 12, 2022.

The court set the next hearing date for May 20, and issued a decree banning the 45-year-old accused from entering the sports venues, valid until the trial of the case.
