Little Sasha Yanko, the child with the bright eyes and the sweetest face, had been missing since March 10. Zoya's grandmother, 60, who had been living together since his father fought in the front and his mother Anna stayed in the city, had taken him by the hand and were running through the woods in Vishorod, Ukraine, to escape Russian troops./p>
Grandmother and grandson ran for days until they reached the Dnieper River and crossed further west. They found a boat to pass. There was only one life buoy. Sasha wore it and it looked funny so it was big for him. In the middle of the river, the boat capsized. Everyone drowned. But their bodies were not found. Sasha has been missing since March 10.
Hope
Anna and her dad have always hoped that the child is well and will be alive. Anna posted photos of Sasha everywhere to try to locate him.
