17:00 – Singing, among other things, the “Accordion” by Manos Loizos, the procession, peacefully, but with slogans such as “break the terror”, stopped in Parliament and began to return to the starting point.

16:40 – The march in Nicosia is in progress with slogans and flowers, which is quite massive.
All ages, young, middle-aged, elderly, families with prams, many bicycles and many with flowers in their hands, march with slogans such as “down the entanglement”, “down corruption”, “down to police violence”, some succeed and against the parties, in favor of public health. Others throw leaflets with slogans such as “the enemy is the banks”, while the slogan “to break the terror” is heard.

6:20 – Thousands of people took to the streets for the second consecutive Saturday to protest against corruption in Cyprus. After what happened last Saturday when the Police used excessive violence as a result of which citizens were injured and even a protester lost a part of her vision after being compressed by the water cannon “Aiantas”, today the police forces on the spot are monitoring more discreetly.
The protesters started from Kolokasi Park holding placards and shouting slogans.
Among the slogans are “We are together with Anastasia”, “War in the war of the bosses”, “Down with the entanglement”, “Down with corruption”, “Down with the police violence”, “There is no health without freedom”. Protesters demand the resignation of the government.
In fact, the operation is coordinated today by the Assistant Chief of Police, Dimitris Dimitriou. Hundreds of citizens are expected to take part in the “As Dame” march, while in the previous days the organizers stressed that all appropriate measures will be taken due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
