A 23-year-old man is being treated in critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital, who is said to have been injured after being attacked by unknown persons in Nicosia.
A second person, aged 21, who is also being treated at the Nicosia General Hospital, was reportedly injured during the attack. The two young men were transported injured to the Nicosia General Hospital, late last night, Wednesday, November 10th.
The 23-year-old was found to have a head injury with an open frontal skull injury, as well as leg injuries. He underwent surgery and is being treated in critical condition. The 21-year-old suffered head injuries and was also detained for treatment. His state of health is considered stable.
Police were informed about the incident yesterday. From the examinations that were carried out, it was found that around 10 p.m. on November 10, while the 23-year-old and the 21-year-old were, together with two other persons, in Solomou Square, in Nicosia, they were attacked by a group of unknown persons. The 23-year-old and the 21-year-old were injured in the attack and were transported by ambulance to the Nicosia General Hospital.
