Do you want to develop skills that will help you improve your opportunities in the job market, education, socialization? The Cyprus Youth Organization gives you the solution, through the brand new initiative YouthSkillization.
It is a series of workshops with various themes that aim to provide skills that will strengthen your psychosocial empowerment, which will help you find a job as well as develop digital and green skills.
The first cycle of workshops is entitled, “My digital self (#DigitalSelf)”, will take place in Greek language, with a duration of two hours. The workshops will start on June 6 at the Polycentre in Nicosia, while they will be followed by workshops at the Polycentres of the Youth Organization in Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Agro, Evrychou and Sotira.
The workshops will offer various thematic modules such as : Digital Mindset, applications to improve everyday life, increase productivity and improve health.
The aim of the workshops is to share valuable knowledge on how every young person can improve their image (personal brand), while strengthening their digital profile and their productivity, with smart digital applications and tools.
< p>The digital gap, also known as the digital gap, is not an exclusive problem of Cyprus but of the European Union in general, which for at least a decade has highlighted the issue of empowering young people with the appropriate digital skills. Digital skills are defined as a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes, which give the user digital competence (digital competence) with specific results and are one of the basic conditions for inclusion and development in the labor market.
YouthSkillization takes place with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus, in the context of the European Year of Skills and participation is free!
