A case of attempted murder of a 35-year-old is being investigated by the Limassol Police Department, while the arrest warrant of a 26-year-old is expected, which is said to be the person who wounded the victim with a knife.
The incident occurred shortly before one o'clock in the afternoon, at a construction site in the area of Pano Polemidia and according to the head of the Limassol Police Department, Lefteris Kyriakou, the Police was informed by the Limassol Police General that the 35-year-old was brought in with chest injuries.
The scene was located and blocked, while a knife was found during investigations, as well as other items, which were received for scientific examinations.
“From the examinations, a testimony emerged against the 26-year-old and the issuance of an arrest warrant is expected”, added Mr. Kyriakou.
The causes that led to the injury of the 35-year-old, who is being treated in critical condition, are being investigated.
