A traffic accident occurred shortly after 17:00 in the afternoon on Prodromou Street in Nicosia.
According to the first information, under conditions that are being investigated, a vehicle ran over and injured a pedestrian.
Members of the police and an ambulance rushed to the scene to transport the pedestrian to the Nicosia General Hospital.
Due to the traffic accident there is heavy traffic congestion at the scene.
The police investigations are ongoing.
