A young man, 24 years old from Nicosia, who fought with cancer in 2014, he managed to emerge as a winner and today when he steps on his feet well, he cycles and sends messages of victory against the disease that he himself managed to overcome. p>
Speaking to the Cyprus Times, Alexander explains how he made the decision to make the round of Cyprus in one day in order to raise money to support the Oncology Department of Bank of Cyprus.
“As a professional cyclist and after overcoming cancer I felt the need to send my own message to the public to raise awareness about thyroid cancer. Unfortunately, many people do not know what it is, 85% of those diagnosed with this type of cancer are women, but I was in the 15%,” says Alexandros.
