Another 6 days in the cell for the three prison guards in the case of the murder of 41-year-old Cidan in the Central Prisons.

The three were again brought before the District Court of Nicosia, as their previous arrest warrant expired. The court renewed the decree for a period of 6 days.

As reported in a previous report by the Cyprus Times, the three prison guards were again interrogated and did not admit to any of the crimes. They did, however, give different accounts of the day of the murder, as well as their actions before Cidan fell dead in his cell. Actions, which were put under the microscope of the authorities through closed circuits, but also testimonies and which led to their arrest.
