Resident Artists Poster
In the framework of Radical Afterlives: The Cyprus Movement Archive Project, this Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m. the resident artists Belinda Papavasiliou, Emily Demetriou and x.ypno will present their works at Thkio Ppalies, which are the outcome of extensive research and interactions with the Cyprus Movements Archive.
The presentations include live performances, films and an audiovisual installation, approaching and activating the archive in ways that contribute to its various lives and afterlives.
Furthermore, this Sunday, May 12, at 6 p.m. a lecture will be held at Thkio Ppalies by Antonis Pastellopoulos, about the history of the Cypriot radical movements, followed by a discussion about the works of the resident artists.
The talks will be accompanied by a screening of the two short films of Emily Demetriou and x.ypno and the on-site installation of Belinda Papavasiliou.
