Five months after the murder of the 31-year-old in Messolonghi, the facts are shocking

Today, five months later one twist in the case follows another. Drugs, usury and antiquities theft rings that plague the area constantly enter the discussion about what armed the hand of the 50-year-old butcher and killed the unfortunate Babis.
The lawyer of the Koutsikou case, Kostas Dimopoulos, spoke to the Star about the murder of the young man and the latest developments, which clearly show that many people know about the Alisverisia in the marshes of Messolonghi but refuse to talk.
Accordingly with Mr. Dimopoulos, since the removal of telephone confidentiality, a specific person has been targeted by the authorities, at the same time that the public prosecutor of Messolonghi is preparing to call over 20 people for statements.
However, the fact that the forensic report on the body of 31-year-old Babis has not been submitted is also of interest, something that will be done in the next few days, as well as the toxicology results.
All this, the at a time when the search for the murder weapon, the carbine probably belonging to Babi himself, continues without result.

Unbelievable revelations about the murder of 31-year-old Babis Koutsikos in Messolonghi, who was murdered on January 4 by his 50-year-old butcher friend.
As the OPEN TV station reported, the fingerprint of the 50-year-old butcher's mobile phone was found at the scene of the murder. What emerges, however, is the involvement of other people, while in the next period the investigator will call several persons to testify.
At the same time, according to the report, Babis was shot in the back from a distance of five meters, meaning that there was never a hand-to-hand fight between the two men.
“We have a continuum from the merry-go-round to the lies of the butcher. Declassification gives us another weapon to show that the butcher is only lying. Don't be surprised if we also see in the equation the issue of antiquities that arose a few days later”, said the private researcher, Giorgos Tsoukalis.
“The fact that we have the mark of the alleged perpetrator at the scene of the murder, strengthens the opinion that he took Babi's carbine, but this weapon has not been found. He was found with a wild boar hunting cartridge. The opinion is strengthened that there is only one perpetrator and there are not more because there are no marks from other mobiles. If someone knew or if he was an indirect accomplice or if there is a criminal support, this is under investigation”, said the president of the police officers of SE Attica, Giorgos Kalliakmanis.

“I want to ask the detainee why he did it,” said the mother of Babis Koutsikou, who was found murdered in Messolonghi, speaking to Alpha.
She added that her son carelessly went to meet the detainee butcher and since then she never saw him again. At the same time, he made sure to thank the volunteers for their valuable help in finding the body of Babis Koutsikos.
Characteristically, Babi Koutsikou's mother stated: “If someone knows something, – which I believe they do – let them go and talk to the Justice Department. It's not late! Let's find out something too”.
The 31-year-old was murdered on January 4 in Kampos of Evinochori, while today, according to his mother, it was “three months and we still haven't received the results of the forensic examination”. He added that “the medical examiner told us that on March 21 they left for Athens, but when the results will come out, we have no idea”.
Regarding the messages sent to Babis Koutsikos on the day of his murder, his mother said: “They were also sent to the rest of the company by the same numbers”. He emphasized, however, that if someone calls the numbers in question, they do not correspond to a subscriber. “They must be searched, we must see who they belong to”. “I want to ask him why he did it.”
“From’ the whole company of hunters only m’ I have met one by chance. The rest have disappeared,” she added.
At the same time, the revelation that a number sent a message to the 31-year-old and his group and since then… closed, has given a new twist to the case in question.
“Common messages were sent to the entire company from a number. This number is permanently closed,” said the 31-year-old's mother speaking to ALPHA.
Earlier, STAR had revealed how the removal of phone privacy, has shown direct involvement in the death of the 31-year-old, for which a 51-year-old butcher is accused and remanded in custody.
The fact was also confirmed by the lawyer of the Koutsikou family, Kostas Dimopoulos, who emphasized that there will be “surprises in the coming days”.
Indeed, according to the private investigator, Giorgos Tsoukalis, one of the two women is a baby sitter, underlining at the same time that it will not be surprising if an antiquities ring is involved in the January 4 murder.
