The popular singer also talked about the loss of his brother and the difficulties he experienced until he passed away.
Initially he confessed: “He was a man who basically taught me a lot, I lost him four years ago. He taught me the theater, he took me by the hand and I have seen the Pentara Opera with Melina Mercury and I almost remember the whole cast and my brother standing up to give Melina a standing ovation.I was 8, 9 years old and he took me everywhere with him. He taught me theater, cinema, musicals and great singers…
For me he was a father figure. He was tortured a lot, he had mental and psychological problems. From the age of 38 to 39, he was in and out of rehabilitation units of this kind, psychotherapeutic ones. He was tortured, he was punished a lot. He was lost, he lost himself, we also lost the Savva we knew!This man was not the dashing, the most cheerful, as his brothers and sisters knew him. He suffered a lot because he interrupted his treatments and did various such things that cost him. He was taken over by my mother, who grew up and passed away, and in the next three years he also left.”
He then added: “He is falling apart a building in front of you. A huge edifice you have built inside yourself and you admire a man who you know taught himself English, French, Italian and a little Spanish without even finishing high school. A very intelligent man. When the roles are reversed and you become this person's protector, whereas before he was your protector and you were under his wings, that's when life changes and the earth is turned upside down.”< /em>
