Cyprus Airways organized a meeting in Athens on Thursday 18 January 2023 with the main travel agencies of Greece, as well as representatives of the press in order to strengthen its direct relations with the Greek market and to announce the company's plans and prospects for 2024 The meeting marks a new strategy of the company in the direction of expanding and upgrading the services offered by the company to the Greek traveling public.

The meeting, which took place in a pleasant atmosphere at the Tekila restaurant in Athens, was attended by the Cyprus Airways team, the owner Mrs. Michael Alenkin, the member of the Board of Directors Mr. Giorgos Hatzigiannis and the Commercial Director Mr. Christos Limnatitis, together with a large team of the company's commercial department, who welcomed and thanked the company's partners and cut the king cake on the occasion of the new year.

Mr. Alenkin, cutting the company's pie, thanked the company's partners for the cooperation to date and expressed confidence that the cooperation will be further strengthened for the benefit of those who travel for business or private reasons. Mr. Christos Limnatitis informed the company's “precious partners” in Greece, as he described the guests, that in 2024 the company will double its modern fleet of Airbus A220s with the arrival of two new aircraft of this type. Mr. Limnatitis added “Those of our passengers who enjoyed the special experience of flying with the A220 in both economy and business class expressed themselves very positively and we are happy to see them come back to fly with us again.”

The company's summer flight schedule for 2024 includes a daily connection between Larnaca, both Athens and Heraklion, Rhodes, Preveza, Skiathos and Santorini.
