A simple event held on December 14, 2021 at the Pralina Experience was attended by current and former Deloitte partners with spouses, as well as some employees who worked closely for years with Christos Christoforou, to honor their former Senior Executive Officer who is leaving the company at the end of the year.
Speaking at the event, the current Senior Executive Director of Deloitte, Pieris Markou, thanked Mr. Christoforou on behalf of the partners and the people of the organization, pointing out his decisive contribution to everything that the organization has achieved since its establishment.
As Mr. Markou characteristically said “we are here tonight not only to wish you with all our souls the best for your future plans, but mainly to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for what you have offered all these years, both in Chrysanthou & Christoforou, but also later in Deloitte “.
He added: “Acting honestly, always faithful to your vision, with dignity, zeal and dedication, you managed to grow this organization from the 90 and some people we were when you took over the leadership of the organization, to more than 750 people today . And all this, always remaining faithful to your principles, and above all maintaining as the apple of your eye the family and friendly environment that you have created and maintained for so many years. You will always be an example for us to imitate. “
Excited to take the floor, Mr. Christoforou thanked all the partners at Deloitte for the close and constructive cooperation they have had over the years. Without their help, support and contribution, said Mr. Christoforou, we would not be able to turn Deloitte into a protagonist in professional services in Cyprus. After expressing his pride for all his associates and his confidence for the bright future of Deloitte, he gave the assurance that he will always be by their side whenever they need him.
