The members of ETYK gave the green light to the Board of Directors of the organization, to proceed with the use of all the measures at its disposal, including the strike.

According to the announcement of ETYK, on District General Assemblies & nbsp; voted a total of 5,745 members, of which 5714 voted in favor, ie 99.5%. According to the organization, the management of Hellenic Bank must respect the labor institutions and the contracts.

With great success, the District General Assemblies of the members of ETYK were held today in all the Banks.

The attendance of the colleagues in all the cities was massive and unprecedented, 5,745 members came and voted.

YES: 5714 & nbsp; NO: 28 & nbsp; & nbsp; CANCELED: 3 & nbsp; & nbsp; that is 99.5% YES

This fact, demonstrates in the strongest way the high sense of responsibility, solidarity, unity & nbsp; and determination of ALL our members to fight in every way, gathered around the leadership of our Organization, for the protection of jobs and of their rights. & nbsp;

At the beginning of the General Assemblies, all the chairpersons referred to Ms. Zeta Aimilianidou with the wishes for a speedy recovery and a speedy return to her duties and her family. Afterwards, the colleagues were initially informed about the problems created by the provocative attitude of the Management of the Hellenic Bank, followed by a discussion and exchange of views.

The common position was that the Management of the Hellenic Bank must respect the labor institutions of the place, to comply with the decisions of the Ministry of Labor and with the provisions of the existing collective agreements. & Nbsp;

By secret ballot the colleagues almost UNANIMOUSLY (99.5%) have authorized the Board of Directors of our Organization, to proceed if and when deemed necessary, to use all the measures at its disposal, including the strike. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;

The message was clear that the colleagues of ALL Banks will not accept the surpluses in any way and if necessary, with solidarity and determination, they will react vigorously. & Nbsp;

We emphasize that the strike measures were never an end in itself for our Organization, but the Management of the Hellenic Bank pushes us to them with its actions. & nbsp;

We hope that even now, its Management Hellenic Bank will diversify its stance and avoid harmful controversies. & nbsp;

Otherwise, our Organization will have no choice but to implement the mandate of the General Assemblies, to take all necessary measures to protect the jobs and rights of our members.
