The Ministry of Finance announced plans to “modernise” its communication methods by phasing out fax machines.
Effective mid-June, telephone lines dedicated to fax communication will be discontinued.
“As part of modernizing the Ministry of Finance’s working methods and communication, the use of fax machines will soon be discontinued, and they will be replaced by other forms of communication such as email,” the Ministry said in a post on X.
