The Government denies that special measures will be taken for Limassol due to the deteriorating epidemiological image of the city. Speaking to reporters after President Anastasiadis's meeting with party leaders and members of the coronavirus epidemiological advisory group, Government Spokesman Kyriakos Kousios said that announcements on easing restrictive measures would be made tomorrow. He also said that the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Ioannou, but also the coordinator of the epidemiological advisory group, Konstantinos Tsioutis, informed the political leaders about issues related to the epidemiological picture, the management of the examination program (test), the vaccination program , the rates of vaccinations, for the time when the vaccinations are expected to be completed to cover the entire population of Cyprus, as well as for the measures, which are under discussion and for the relaxations that are expected to be decided tomorrow by the Council of Ministers.
The Government Spokesman said that all the political leaders were asked a lot of questions, which were thoroughly answered by both the President of the Republic and the Minister of Health, as well as the members of the epidemiological advisory group.
