According to police sources, theexplosion in the cellar in Kallithea was retaliation for the bomb in Piraeus. It is recalled that the explosion in Piraeus, on March 8, had occurred between a gas station and a plot of land, at 3:25 a.m. early in the morning, causing material damage to the gas station as well as to nearby cars.
For the explosion in Piraeus, two Albanians, aged 37 and 40, were arrested. The second in facthe is convicted of extortion and robbery.
Regarding the incident in Kallithea, a 39-year-old Greek and a 35-year-old Albanian fell into the hands of the Police.
The bomb explosion in Kallithea on March 12 had caused the complete destruction of a wine cellar, while parked cars were damaged.
According to information, the 35-year-old is a member of a powerful group of the Athenian night.

“Two persons were identified and brought in by the Extortion Prosecution Department for the explosion at a gas station on 8-3- 2024 in Piraeus and two more people for the explosion in a cellar on 12-3-2024 in Kallithea.
All were arrested for -as the case may be- resistance, violations of the legislation on weapons and drugs and for convictions, while as part of the investigations, one more person was arrested for violating the arms legislation.
All are being taken to the competent prosecution authorities.
