Halkidiki: The 26-year-old contacted the police - "I'm in France..."

The case of the disappearance of the 26-year-old mother from the region of Halkidiki had a positive outcome as she contacted the authorities stating that both she and her child are in good health.

The young mother who disappeared with her three-year-old daughter from Nikiti Halkidiki on Tuesday night gave signs of life and they "ended" search operations to locate them.

According to information from protothema.gr, after the publicity received by the disappearance case and the summons for the abduction of a minor filed by the child's father and the 26-year-old's partner, the young woman contacted the Security by phone and told them that she was in good health herself and her little girl and how they are abroad with her father. And specifically in France, where they come from. The same information states that the police officer who had contact with her, asked her to speak via video call in order to make sure of the reliability of the communication.

It is noted that from the first hours when the disappearance of the woman and child, by her 32-year-old partner and the girl's father, the police investigations were pointing in this direction, as the woman is of French origin but with a Greek identity.

In fact, the fact that before her disappearance in Halkidiki her father had traveled by road from France and after the disappearance he did not answer the calls of the police, strengthened this scenario.

A case file is being filed against the 26-year-old mother for the crime of abducting a minor, following a lawsuit filed on Thursday by the 32-year-old father of the three-year-old. It is possible that the 26-year-old's father, who lives in France, will face the same charge, as he allegedly helped her run away with the child.

As the father's lawyer, Sotiris Kapetanopoulos, reported to protothema.gr, there will be very soon judicial developments regarding the case, which will concern both the criminal part, with the issue of the abduction of a minor, the finding of the child, but also the possible involvement of third parties, as well as at a political level. As Mr. Kapetanopoulos clarifies, the first and main good that the 32-year-old father is interested in, from the first moment of the disappearance, is his child and all he wants is the good of his daughter.

The couple was facing personal problems

It is recalled that the disappearance of the mother and the child was reported on Wednesday night to the Police Department of Sithonia, Halkidiki, by the father of the three-year-old and the partner of the 26-year-old. According to the 32-year-old, the mother left the house in the area of Nikiti the night before with the child, without informing him, and since then their traces have been lost.

As reported by protothema.gr, Martin, who works at the family's home in the area of Nikiti, the couple has recently been facing personal problems. He met the 26-year-old with her child and her father – who had come by road from France – last Friday in the yard of their house.

According to a close family member of the three-year-old's father's family, the couple were recently in France together, without their daughter, and there was an argument between them. The 32-year-old returned by car to Greece while the woman stayed at home with her family in France for about 20 days.

According to a close relative of the 32-year-old, the woman collected from their house before she disappeared in Halkidiki all her and her daughter's things, while the 32-year-old noticed their absence on Tuesday night and since then he has not been able to contact her. The next day, he saw that the clothes, personal belongings and some money were missing from the house and then he reported their disappearance to the police.

Information indicates that the 32-year-old has given the police the registration number of the car with the French license plates belonging to the woman's father, as well as a photo of the vehicle.

It is noted that the couple is not married, however they lived together in the same house, while the 32-year-old from Thessaloniki has recognized his 3-year-old daughter.< /p>
