At the side of 20 new students up to the fourth year of their studies, Hellenic Bank will be part of the Jumpstart scholarship program.
According to an announcement by Hellenic Bank, the results of the evaluation of the applications submitted for the years 2020-2024, were announced on Friday, February 12 and are available on the website jumpstart.hellenicbank.com, indicating the application number.
The program offers financial support of 2,000 euros per year for 4 years for the academic studies of young students at any university or college of higher education in Cyprus or abroad.
The scholarships were awarded following scoring that took into account the applicant's academic performance and distinctions, the financial situation of the family and specific social situations. Evidence that has determined the results, in addition to the academic performance and the distinctions of the applicants are social situations and difficulties that make their academic success even more essential, such as the difficult financial situation, serious health issues, orphans, etc.
This year, 114 applications were submitted and the first 41 ranked candidates passed to the second stage of evaluation based on the score they obtained on the online application platform. In the second stage, during which the necessary certificates were presented and validated by Ernst & Young, the top 20 applications were considered successful.
