The difficulties faced by households in Cyprus are reflected survey, with 88% of respondents stating that fixed bills have increased.

This is demonstrated by the survey of the All Cyprus Consumers and Quality of Life Association, which was carried out in March and April.

According to the findings, 4 out of 10 households state that they barely manage with their income and about 3 at 10 they struggle a little and quite a bit.

<p>On the other hand, 30% declare that they are comfortable with their incomes, an increased percentage compared to the previous year, since for 2023 the corresponding percentage was at 21%.</p>
<p>88% of respondents stated that their bills (electricity, telephone, water, etc.) have increased, while 56% and 53% have reduced their spending on holidays and entertainment, respectively.</p>

<p>Important findings are also observed in where the most important amounts of the family income are channeled. as the survey shows, the highest percentage is received by home maintenance, with 45%, while the lowest is in investments, which reaches only 3%.</p>
