The Development Company of Larnaca – Famagusta Provinces (ANETEL) addresses a call for interest for agritourism actions entitled “Investment Support Actions for Non-Agricultural Activities”.
A written announcement states that the Local Action Team of the “Larnaca-Famagusta Provinces Development Company” in collaboration with the Managing Authority of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2020, the Cyprus Payments Organization and the Department of Agriculture, announces the 2nd Announcement 19.2.2: “Investment Support Actions for Non-Agricultural Activities” of Scheme 19.2 – “Support for the implementation of actions in the framework of the local development strategy at the initiative of local communities of Measure 19 – LEADER @.
It adds that “the aim of the Action is to support the creation and development of non-agricultural activities, as well as businesses related to agritourism (eg traditional restaurants or cafes, small hotels, retail stores related to agricultural products, as well as enrichment activities related to culture, tradition, local products). All Actions are recommended to emphasize the promotion of the natural environment and / or the traditional character of the Cypriot countryside “.
It is noted that “the available public expenditure amounts to 400 thousand euros, while the minimum amount of sponsorship (Public Funding) is ten thousand euros and the maximum amount of sponsorship is 200 thousand euros. The amount of the sponsorship amounts to 50% on the eligible costs of the investment, while in the investments made in the mountainous areas, as defined in the RDP 2014-2020, the amount of aid amounts to 60% on the eligible costs of the investment “.
The deadline for submission of Applications-Application Files expires at 12 noon on Friday 14 May 2021.
