The KEBE is not satisfied with the proposal, as it stands at the moment, of the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance Yiannis Panagiotou in relation to ATA, said the President of the Chamber Christodoulos Agastiniotis, after a more than two-hour session of the KEBE Board of Directors , during which there was an intense debate in relation to the mediation proposal of the Minister of Labor for ATA.
“The KEBE is looking for a permanent settlement of the issue that takes into account, not only inflation, but the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of businesses”, he added.
Mr. Agastiniotis said that “the issue it is difficult and complex and the discussion will continue”, adding that there will be a meeting in the next few days with the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) “to possibly come to a joint conclusion on the issue”.
Interviewees whether the KEBE will submit its own proposal, Mr. Agastiniotis said that they will meet next Friday with the Minister of Labor “to convey to him our concerns and our proposals, the points that bother us in his proposal to discuss the state further”.
