The plan offers the option of paying off the mortgage in full, by paying part of the amount owed. In particular, the plan concerns borrowers who have a loan in KEDIPES secured by a first home with a market value of up to €350,000, which was non-performing on 12/31/2023 and remains non-performing.
Based on the provisions of the new plan, eligible borrowers can pay off their loan obligations in full by paying an amount that will be calculated at a significant percentage discount on the market value of the mortgaged residence.
