Today in the ESS the undeclared work with ten meters

Σorμερα στο ΕΣ&sigma ηαλεγδκρ /></p> <p>By Alexia Kafetzis</p> <p>Today, the ten reinforced measures to deal with undeclared and illegal work announced by the Minister of Labor Yannis Panagiotou are being put before the Labor Advisory Body (ESS).< /p> </p> <p>According to an announcement by the ministry, the package of ten measures, as well as the package of measures for Turkish Cypriots, are included in the agenda of the next meeting of the ESS, which will take place this afternoon.</p> <p>Measures to deal with of undeclared and illegal work pertain to the following:</p> <p>*Increase of inspections carried out and targeting at specific places and times.</p> <p>*Expansion of the coordinated operations of the Inspections service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Aliens and Immigration service of the Police.</p> <p>*Interconnection of available IT systems and existing databases to utilize data and information.</p> <p> *Carrying out a campaign to reach third-country nationals between the ages of 17 and 65 who are legally in Cyprus and are not identified as legally employed.</p> <p>*Investigating the connection between the employers who apply the practice of undeclared and illegal employment of foreigners and the traffickers of illegal immigrants.</p> <p>*Conducting an information campaign about the consequences and effects of undeclared and illegal work in cooperation with the social partners and other competent bodies.</p> <p>*Electronic census of all employees in the information system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.</p> <p>*Imposition of an extrajudicial fine of €1000 for each case of undeclared work.</p > <p>*Doubling the out-of-court fine in the event of a repeat violation with a new case of undeclared work.</p> <p>*Inclusion of liability to the main contractor in addition to the subcontractor, for cases of undeclared work.</p> <p>The ESS will also examine today the package of measures for Turkish Cypriots which includes the payment of a widow's pension to beneficiaries, the right to participate in human resources programs, the right to participate in training programs of the Productivity Center as well as in training seminars on matters of the acquis of the European Union.< /p><br /> <noindex></p> <div class=Source: 24h.com.cy
