The Cyprus Confederation of Organizations of the Disabled(KYSOA) in a statement issued on Monday, welcomes the excellent service provided to citizens with disabilities during the Confederation's All-Cypriot Event for the Claim of Rights, held outside the Presidential Palace on Friday, December 2 by the Police, adding that the Police have proven that they can to be an example for all other public services in the country, especially in the issues of recognizing and respecting their rights.

The members of the Police who were outside the Presidential Palace, supported mothers to get their children off their vehicles in a wheelchair, the disabled themselves in terms of their parking and their seamless transition to the venue, the blind and other disabled people, states and adds that the Police is the only public organization in the country that operates in a permanent based training program of its members on disability with the full participation and active involvement of the Confederation ias.
