The Ministry of Interior was also informed of his positions “in relation to the problems created by the overconcentration of immigrants in areas of the city”
The candidate for mayor of Nicosia, Nikos Tornaritis, had a meeting with the Minister of the Interior, Kostantinos Ioannou, who states in his announcement that the Ministry of the Interior has committed to promote the increase of state sponsorship in Nicosia as an immediate priority after the elections.
The candidate mayor adds that the Minister of the Interior was also informed of his positions in relation to the problems created by the overconcentration of immigrants in areas of the city and proposed a set of measures, which are included in his Plan for Nicosia and found the full response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for to limit such phenomena in the context of the effective management of immigration by the state.
Furthermore, Mr. Tornaritis states that he presented his proposals for the stimulation of critical areas, both in the historical center, as well as in the areas of Kaimakli, Pallouriotissa, Agios Pavlos and Agios Dometios, and requested enhanced incentive plans for residence and business activity.
