Awarding of First Prize to the winner of the Student Essay Competition of the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus
The National Bank of Greece (Cyprus), resolutely continuing its long-term support for student excellence, awarded the First Prize to the winner of the Student Essay Competition, which has been organized continuously since 1976 by the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.
The theme of this year's competition was about the European Union's contribution to addressing the challenges of our time, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Cyprus's accession to the European Union.

In the context of the award ceremony that took place at the residence of the Greek Ambassador, the head of the Corporate Banking Division of the National Bank of Greece (Cyprus), Mrs. Marilena Sevastidou, awarded the 1st Prize to the winner of the Competition, Athina Anastasiou, a student of Latsion High School in Nicosia.
Investing in excellence, supporting the youth of Cyprus and rewarding those who envision the formation of future are for the National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) a strategic decision, recognizing its responsibility towards society.
The undertaking of similar initiatives to strengthen the new generation and support education is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of NGE (Cyprus).
