Nicolas Panagiotou deserved his new contract even more

The absolute justification for Nikolas Panagiotou was the early renewal of his contract with Omonia until 2027, who won it with his sword and his value.
His path in Omonia up to now is well known, he started, making steady upward steps until today he established himself in the starting eleven and is one of the team's most valuable assets, hence the early renewal of his contract.
The 23-year-old stopper joined the “greens” in the summer of 2019 and for many he was unrecognizable, but with his hard work he soon made sure that all of Cyprus was talking about him. The confidence in the person of the then 19-year-old Nikolas was given by Neophytos Larkou, who took advantage of Timur Ketspaja's mistake (as it turned out later) to bring him to the “clover”.
Maybe in the first year Nikolas did not get opportunities, but he was not disappointed, he worked hard and the following season he won the trust of Henning Berg, while with the arrival of Neil Lennon he became key and irreplaceable.
The highlight of the Cypriot international stopper's career was the game against Manchester United in the Europa League groups, when he came on as a substitute in the match and managed to score.
Of course, Nikolas' contribution was also great in last year's journey to winning the Cup. Despite being sidelined by Yannick Ferrera, Panagiotou persevered and when Augusti arrived he deservedly won a starting position again, contributing the most to save the year, winning the Omonia Cup, securing the exit to Europe.
< p>In addition to the above, Nikolas also had a difficult time, through injuries, rejections (see Timour), marginalization (see Ferrera), but he made sure to come out strong and every time he returned to the original shape even better. This happened again this year, after a difficult summer for him, as he went through the door of the surgery for abdominal surgery, then he had some issues, but in the end he managed to return to the eleven, having amazing performances.
Essentially, with his humility, hard work and stubbornness, Nikolas forced Omonoia to renew his contract early, which of course he deserved even more.
