I am writing this text because my son asked me to two days before he left for the neighborhood of angels, on Christmas day.

The Metropolitan of Famagusta, Mr. Vasilios, had declared a few days before the vote that “we will do whatever the Holy Spirit enlightens us.” And the Holy Spirit apparently enlightened him to communicate with George of Paphos and to demand from him to consult with him about the positions he will formulate publicly as Archbishop on the Cyprus issue! And this is obviously because he considered the publicly expressed opinions of Paphos Georgios to be extreme or as one newspaper put it, the positions of Paphos Georgios on the Cyprus issue were provocative and unacceptable for the majority of Famagusta residents. How low do your representatives bring You down on earth Lord and God the Spirit of Truth!! Forgive them.
What can one say about the Metropolitans of Kyrenia and Tamasos? There were also two contenders for the Archbishop's Throne. The second one was actually inside the three-person. And on the night when the result was announced, he thanked the young people who voted for him. And before dawn he sold those who voted for him and his own vote in the Holy Synod for Kato Lakatamia!! And the other one, Kyrenia, I don't know if he is also from the same night but when is of no importance. What counts is that he also sold her for the money of some temples and for some sums of money. For Morphou, I might decide to deal with it in the future. It's a special case. However, I heard and was surprised that Athanasiou's position that the vaccination against covid 19 was not a spiritual issue counted a lot in his own decision to support George!
