With a proverb, George Pamporidis responded to the publication of the list “Giorkatzi” where his name appears among the Politically Exposed Persons with Non-Performing Loans.
In particular, in his post, the former Minister of Health wrote that “As the wise people say, 'Clear skies, lightning (or controls) are not afraid.' For those who are interested, please click on my announcement.”

Along with the post, he quoted a public statement stating that the company's loan never became non-performing. He expresses his surprise for the inclusion of his name in the list. He emphasizes that despite the difficult times, not even a single installment of this loan was left unpaid.
In his statement, Mr. Pamporidis appeals to the Speaker of Parliament and the Governor of the Central Bank to immediately conduct a full and thorough investigation to demonstrate who took advantage of their political position for their own benefit.
He also quotes a letter from the bank with which he cooperates stating that the company Vorando Holding Limited did not have a loan that was non-performing.
