Ending the headache and difficulty in finding a suitable candidate for mayor of Larnaca, who will stand against the absolute favorite of the city, Andreas Vyra, DISY president Annita Dimitriou has put an end to, announcing her recommendation for Michalis Ppecris, for ratification by the collective organs of the party.
In her statement from Pindarou, Annita Dimitriou, after presenting Michalis Ppecris, indicated that he is a successful and self-made young man, who, as she claimed, has the qualifications and characteristics that DISY is looking for. In addition, Mrs. Dimitriou stood in Ppekri's term as the municipal councilor of the Municipality of Larnaca, speaking of a person who was born, grew up and lives in Larnaca every day and knows the problems.
Next, Michalis Pepkris thanked Annita Dimitriou, while he declared his readiness to take on the great responsibility of his candidacy for the mayorship of Larnaca. “I am ready to roll up my sleeves and give my best. I know the issues of Local Government and what is needed for Larnaca to move forward”.
In the coming days, he is expected to clarify the issue of the candidacy for the Provincial Organization of Larnaca. Although Evangelos Evaggelidis withdrew his interest, he nevertheless seems to be having second thoughts.
The Who is Who of Michalis Ppecris
Mihalis Ppecris was born in Larnaca on 09/11/1980 and is the first child of Dimitris Ppecris from Vatili and Georgia Giakoumis from Assia. He is married to Georgia Miltiadou Ppekri from Ora and Lefkoniko and they have three daughters.
He studied at Makariou III High School in Larnaca and then enlisted in the National Guard where he served his military service in the 28th ETOMA (Armoured Combat Vehicle Regiment).
He has a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.
He maintains his own businesses in the provision of high level consulting services providing multi-faceted and multi-level services according to the needs such as the information and management of projects financed either by European and National Programs or even by Private participation.
