The Police states that they are ready to investigate any information or data that come into its possession, related to any circuit of rape and sexual exploitation, while so far the activist, who expressed his intention to give information to the Cypriot Police about a circuit operating in Greece and in Cyprus and is related to the case of the rape of a 24-year-old in Thessaloniki, he has not sent anything to the Police.

The police sent a text message this morning to both the activist himself and his lawyer and their response is expected regarding his (activist) intentions on the matter.

In his statements to KYPE and when asked about the specific case, the Police Spokesman Christos Andreou said that on Saturday, January 22, there was a communication between the two police forces of Greece and Cyprus, “where we were informed that from the examination of data collected by the Greek authorities does not appear at this stage to provide any evidence or any testimony for any action of persons from Cyprus that is related to any circuit “.

As Mr. Andreou further stated, “we also expect a response from a second source from a person in Greece, who himself has expressed the intention to provide us with some information regarding this issue. Despite the fact that he himself stated that he would give us this information from last week, this has not happened until today. The police sent a text message this morning to both him and his lawyer and their response is expected regarding his intentions on the matter. “We are ready to investigate any information or data that comes into our possession,” he added.

Asked to comment that this person is talking about the cover-up of this case by the Greek and Cypriot authorities, Mr. Andreou said that such an issue does not exist.

“Let us clarify once again that at the moment we have no complaints and no information regarding this issue. We are waiting for the exact data, which he stated his intention to send us, in order to proceed with the investigation. “The Cyprus Police is very sensitive in such matters and we are ready, when any information emerges from any source, whether it concerns the Greek police – because if something happens they will inform us – or from this person himself, to proceed with the investigation,” he concluded.

Names beyond suspicion in the pimping circuit

In the next few hours, she will submit to the Authorities, data that she has gathered and which concern the exploitation of women by pimping circuits, said the lawyer Nikos Dialynas, who participates in the defense of the 24-year-old who reported the rape in Thessaloniki.

The lawyer announced loud revelations about the involvement of state persons in such networks of exploitation of women, through a private party with high fees, which, as he said, he will submit to the Prosecutor's Office.

“The circuit is spreading all over Greece, I can not tell you many details, but the information is shocking, in terms of persons, some of whom are beyond suspicion,” said Mr. Dialynas, speaking to ANT1.

Names, persons and mode of operation (regarding the way the girls fished) are expected to come out in the next few hours, according to Mr. Dialynas.

Asked about the names beyond suspicion, Mr. Dialynas referred mainly to the professions that these people do.

In fact, he pointed out with meaning that the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court and the Chiefs of the Court of Appeal will share his information directly, implying that there are indications of concealment.
