Streets will be closed in Larnaca on Saturday, December 10, the day when the Christmas Parade will take place in the city's shopping center.
In announcement of the Municipality of Larnaca informs that “the planned Christmas parade at the Shopping Center with the Descent of Santa accompanied by dance groups from the ballet schools of Larnaca, will take place at six in the afternoon on Saturday, December 10. The route to be followed is Athens Avenue, Kosmas Lyssioti, Zenonos Kitieos, Zenonos D. Pieridis, Lordou Byronos, Gladstonos and Ermou Street”.
It is added that “due to the parade, the streets of Ermou, Nikolaou Rossou, Section of Zenonos Kitios from the junction with the Square will be closed to traffic Achillea Theodoulou until its junction with Filiou Zannetou Street, Zenonos D. Pieridis Street, Lordou Byronos Street, Gladstonos Street and the lanes that lead to these streets. The closure will take place from three in the afternoon until 9 in the evening on Saturday and parking will be prohibited, on the streets that will be cut off from traffic”.
It is noted that “appropriate traffic signals will be placed, prohibition and directional detour signs. At the same time, all necessary measures will be taken for the smooth movement of emergency vehicles. The public is invited to comply with the instructions of the Traffic, Larnaca Municipality Traffic Police and traffic signals”.
