In the second part of the survey that conducted by Analytica Market Research on behalf of Cyprus Times, the intention to vote in the new Municipalities created by the Local Government Reform. Those who are ahead, those who are fighting and the expected derbies. Who would the citizens vote for if the Local Government elections were this Sunday.
The participation in the survey of nearly 7 thousand voters also demonstrates the enormous interest of Cypriots in the upcoming electoral process, which also marks the transition to a new era, also due to the reform of Local Government.
The survey was conducted from April 12 to 18, via a telephone and online questionnaire for the Cyprus Times. 6735 people, aged 18 and over with the right to vote, participated in the survey. The weighting was based on the parliamentary elections of 2021.

Nicosia Province
A certain derby, that of the Strovolos Municipality, is recorded in the findings of the research carried out by Analytica, for the Nicosia province. Tsingis and Stavrinidis are “bumping” while the current Mayor Andreas Papacharalambous is very close.
In the Lakatamia Municipality, 4.5 points separate Louka Eleftheriou and Fotoula Hatzipapa, while in Municipality of Latsion-GeriChristos Pittaras is 6 points ahead of his opponent Savvas Nikolaos.
District of Limassol
In Limassol and the Polemidion Municipality, where there are three candidates, he is ahead Andros Theodorou and 4 units behind him, Giorgoulla Patera. In 3rd place Maria Souzii.
