Grief spread throughout Cyprus at the news of the death of the great actor and director Nikos Charalambous, on the morning of Saturday, March 23.
The great artist passed away at the age of 83, six months after the death of his wife, also actress Maria Miha.
From the first moment, social networks were flooded with posts dedicated to the actor, saying goodbye to a great artist who dedicated his life to theater and television.
Among them the niece of Christina Pavlidou,who posted a video on her personal Facebook account of her visit to her uncle, a few days before she passed away.
Nikos Charalambous can be seen in the video bedridden, visibly distressed while singing with< strong> his sister's daughter, Alcistis Pavlidou, holding hands.
In the caption of the video, Christina Pavlidou characteristically wrote: “Our last meeting a few days ago! The memory faded, maybe it was your defense for a reality that hurt, after the flight of the very loved ones! But the memories of your Iketides accompanied you until the last hour! Good journey my love, teacher, friend, father, uncle…Your light will always warm us! It will remind us what you gave us your family, your friends, the theater, your Cyprus!! Arfui, Mihara, Elenitsa, Hambui, your Lalla! Let's go…you know! I love my uncle!”.
