Two persons under three-day detention after the incident at the foreigners' offices in Paphos – A pregnant woman and two minors were released

Detention orders for three days were issued on Friday by the Pafos District Court against two personswho are allegedly involved in the case of assault, obstruction of the authorities in the performance of their duty, public insult, threat and resistance.
According to the Police, these are two men while the other persons who were arrested, a pregnant woman she was released due to her condition, and two minors also allegedly involved in the case were released on conditions imposed.

According to the Police, at 12:30 noon on Thursday, five persons, from 15 to 51 years old, who are related to each other by family, went to the Provincial Aliens Offices and Immigration in Paphos in order to submit a written application.
It was explained to them that these services are only available by appointment, which they did not accept, they caused concern and then allegedly attacked were at the expense of the police officers on duty, who were trying to enforce order.
