Michalis Zolotas, 47, was transferred to Kos prison yesterday to serve a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence for four convictions involving “commonly dangerous damage” and “contributions”. The amount concerns a loan granted by Marfin Egnatia (during the Vgenopoulos period) to the ship-owning company Grand Anemi, interests of M. Zolotas, who did not even appear in court. It was one of the sea loans that Vgenopoulos had given to Zolotas, who in turn through Focus provided services to Andreas Vgenopoulos, as in the case of Focus.
