As part of the celebrations of this year's World Blood Donor Day, the Blood Center of the Ministry of Health, the GEEF, the Cyprus Police and the Bank of Cyprus with the support of SupportCY members co-organize on Monday 14 June 2021, voluntary blood donations to the following National Army:
“Stavrou Stylianidis” camp in Kornos
-KEN Larnaca
– “Lieutenant General Tassos Markos” camp in Klirou
-Camp “Dimitraki Christodoulou and Foti Pitta” in Sotira
– “Sergeant Sofroniou Avivou” camp in Limassol
-Camp of “Christos Kkelis and Miltiadis Stylianou” in Paphos
During the blood donation at the “Stavrou Stylianidis” Camp in Kornos, a short symbolic event will be organized. The start of the event is scheduled for 12:00.
The event will be honored by the presence of the Minister of Health, the Chief of the National Guard, the Chief of Police and other officials.
The event will include:.
- Greeting from the Minister of Health.
- Greetings from the Chief of the National Guard and the Police.
- Greetings from the Corporate Responsibility Director of Bank of Cyprus.
- Award of the Chief of the National Guard and the Police and other members of the two corps for their valuable contribution to blood donation.
- Award of the Bank of Cyprus for its long-term support to the Blood Center.
- Awarding a small number of blood donors, in whose face we will honor all the anonymous volunteer blood donors.
During the event, the event protocol and guidelines for precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus will be followed.
The event and the blood donations are held under the high protection of the wife of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Andris Anastasiadis.
