Yellow warning for storms and tomorrow from the Department of Meteorology

A new yellow storm warning was issued by the Meteorological Department. The warning will take effect tomorrow Sunday (25/7) from one in the afternoon until five in the afternoon.

Unstable gas mass will affect the area until Monday.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear but locally it is expected to form low clouds or light fog. During the morning hours, fog is likely to form, locally inside. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, initially weak and locally moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts, to later become weak, up to 3 beauforts. The sea will gradually become a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 23 degrees inland, around 24 on the coast and around 18 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow the weather will be mostly clear, while early in the morning there will be local low clouds and light fog, which will soon dissolve. However, clouds, which will develop at noon and in the afternoon, are expected to give local rains and thunderstorms, in the mountains and inland. In a storm, hail is possible. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly moderate to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts, and in the afternoon on the southeast coast moderate to strong, 4 to 5 beauforts. In a storm will blow temporarily very strong variables, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent but in the morning to the east up to a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 36 degrees inland, around 31 on the west coast, around 33 on the rest of the coast and around 28 degrees in the higher mountains.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Monday, to fluctuate close to or slightly below the average climatic values. On Tuesday and Wednesday the temperature will gradually rise, to fluctuate above the average climatic values.
