The “mayor” of occupied Trikomos, Hasan Sadikoglou, in an interview with his correspondent of the illegal TAK news agency, stated that at least 6-7 thousand foreigners live in the occupied areas that fall within the administrative boundaries of his “municipality” and that the number of foreigners in an area should not exceed 25%, because they also bring problems with them .
According to a publication in “Guinesh”, as transmitted by the Press and Information Office, answering a question about the number of people of foreign origin residing in the resident of Trikomo, Mr. Santikoglou commented that there is an increased demand from foreigners due to the coastal infrastructure and the location of the area.
He also mentioned that foreigners who buy houses and live there face serious deficiencies in terms of integration, receiving services , education of their children and that there must be a “government” policy for this.
