In a press conference held on Thursday, May 4, the Diplomat company and the ALPHAMEGA Supermarkets presented to the University of Nicosia their new joint action, with the slogan “WE SUPPORT WOMEN IN PRACTICAL WITH BREAST CANCER”.
With the aim of providing substantial support to the EUROPA DONNA Cyprus Association and strengthening its programs, the two partners joined forces by implementing the “1 PURCHASE = 1 DONATION” mechanism regarding the purchase of P&G products from ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets. Specifically, the action concerns the products Always, Pantene, Gillette Venus, Oral–B and Tampax and the donation from the sale of each product will amount to €0.40. The total amount raised will be used to purchase special bras and wigs for women with breast cancer.
During the conference, the partners invited the public to make a difference in the lives of women with breast cancer by supporting the initiative that will run from 04 to 17 May, exclusively at ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets.
On behalf of ALFAMEGA Supermarkets, Ms. Natasa Konstantinidou, Chief Communications and CSR Officer, delivered a short greeting, who welcomed the new alliance “tied” with the pink ribbon of Europa Donna Cyprus and praised the important work carried out by the Association. In addition, she referred to the details of the action and expressed her satisfaction for the participation of Hypermarkets in yet another action with a social character.
