The Paphos District Court issued a five-day detention order against a 67-year-old woman for a theft case by an employee to facilitate the investigations.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Nikos Tsapis, during the investigation of the complaint, it was found that 25 bank withdrawals were made from ATM cash registers totaling 17 thousand euros, from credit cards of which the holder has died.
Police arrested a 67-year-old suspect who worked for the 81-year-old credit card holder.
Today, he said, the 67-year-old appeared before the Paphos District Court, against which a detention order was issued for a period of five days. The 67-year-old was interrogated, said Mr. Tsapis, put forward her own allegations and are being investigated by the Police.
The examinations are continued by the Paphos Crime Detection Department.
