In the last 24 hours, the Police proceeded with 203 complaints of citizens and one complaint of an estate, for violation of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus disease.
In his statements to KYPE, a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated that from 6 in the morning of Sunday until 6 today, 11,037 checks were carried out.
Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 2,538 inspections were carried out and 27 complaints of citizens emerged, while in Limassol 2,726 inspections were carried out with 100 complaints of citizens and one in a property.
In Larnaca 1,561 inspections were carried out with 21 complaints of citizens, while in Paphos 1,224 inspections were carried out with 19 complaints of citizens.
In Famagusta 1,327 inspections were carried out with 7 complaints of citizens and in the area of Morfos 1,039 inspections were carried out with 12 complaints of citizens.
Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 505 inspections, which resulted in 17 complaints from citizens, while the MMAD carried out 80 inspections, from which no complaints emerged.
The Port and Maritime Police carried out 37 inspections, from which no violation was revealed.
