A double murder took place this morning in the industrial area of Ergaton in the province of Nicosia where a father attacked with a knife and killed his wife and son.
The 58-year-old father, after killing his 52-year-old wife and 20-year-old son, then attacked his eldest son, whom he stabbed once, and then tried to strangle him with a wire around his neck.
He was facing psychological problems
The perpetrator, who was suffering from psychological problems and it is still unknown whether he was following the medication he had been given, reportedly got up in the morning and started chasing his wife with a knife, injuring her deadly and her body was found outside the house. . He also stabbed his 20-year-old son, whose body was found in the hallway.
He then attacked his second son, who is 21 years old, and after injuring him, he fled. The 21-year-old then called for help and was heard by his cousin who lives next door. The girl in turn called her mother and sister of the 52-year-old who went home and found the victims. He informed the Police and stated that the perpetrator had left.
The perpetrator of the heinous crime is wanted by the Police.
