It is recalled that children who are close contacts of a confirmed COVID-19 incident and should be restricted according to protocol, should be transported daily by their parents for a period of 6 days to pre-designated sampling points that will operate in schools, to be tested rapid antigen detection (rapid test) and then if the test is negative, to be transferred to their school unit.

The specific points will operate from 07:00 to 08:00, for the best service of the students who will be close contacts.

For students of Secondary Education it is recommended that they arrive between the hours of 07:00 – 07:30, so that there is no further loss of teaching time.

Primary and secondary school students living in remote or mountainous communities will continue to be served by the sampling points that will visit the schools, as announced by the Ministry of Health.

It is clarified that in each case, the parents / guardians have the responsibility of escorting and supervising the children who will come to the sampling centers located in the schools.
