Priority investments in prime locations in Cyprus

Specifically, Gilad Shabtai is investing in more than 130,000 sq.m. of land around the Limassol casino, City of Dreams Mediterranean. Most of the land was purchased by “Cyprus Fassouri Plantation Holdings Ltd”, a member of the CNS Shacolas Group.
The plot is located in Zakaki, an area under development, which essentially surrounds the casino. Although this area is already attracting attention due to the largest casino resort in Europe that will soon be operating there, this investment is expected to further strengthen investment interest.
Plans for the said land development are still in the early stages, however, it is planned to consist of 7-star apartments and services while targeting investors. High-quality facilities, luxury entertainment, dining and wellness areas, as well as offices will be part of the masterplan, further enhancing the lifestyle of the area. In parallel, plans are being drawn up for further investment and development of the region in the near future.
Who is Gilad Shabtai
Gilad Shabtai is best known for selling a majority stake in the Telecommunications company Viber – which was sold in 2014 for $900 million. Shabtai maintains successful business ventures in various sectors such as real estate and technology. It operates in more than 15 countries and has also created strong ties with Cyprus, where it started its investments 25 years ago. In fact, through his companies based in Cyprus, he has grandiose plans for new, future investments, believing deeply in the great development potential of this area.
Commenting on the development plans on the island, Mr. Shabtai said: “I believe that Cyprus has a huge dynamic of opportunities in the real estate sector. This project will be a trigger for greater development and investment in a wider context. We have put in place a long-term investment program that will undoubtedly be mutually beneficial, both for the Cyprus economy and its people, and for the investors themselves.”
