The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) announce that the application period for the Cyprus Export Award 2020 is extended until November 26, 2021.
It is reminded that the exporters of Industrial and Agricultural Products and Services can submit an application, provided that they meet the relevant criteria. Those interested can obtain the regulations and criteria of the Cyprus Export Award, as well as application forms, from the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (tel .: 22867331, website www.meci.gov.cy/ts) and from the Cyprus Trade and Chamber of Industry (tel .: 22889860).
The number of Prizes to be awarded will be a maximum of:
• Two for Industrial Products, in different categories each Award where possible, at the absolute discretion of the Commission.
• One for Agricultural Products.
• A Special Award for Industrial Products.
• Five for Services, which relate to the following areas:
(1) An Award for companies in the field of Financial Services.
(2) An Award for companies in the field of Maritime Transport and Merchant Shipping.
(3) An Award for companies in the field of Tourism Services,
(4) An Award for companies in the field of Telecommunications, Information and Information,
(5) A General Service Award for companies in other sectors,
The institution of the Cyprus Export Award, co-organized by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the CCCI, was launched in 1982 with the aim of recognizing and rewarding the outstanding effort to increase the exports of Cypriot industrial and agricultural products and services. In the 39 years of operation of the institution, several companies from the whole spectrum of the export trade have been awarded, which have benefited greatly by making use of the Award for promotional purposes, especially abroad.
